PetroSearch Training specialises in the delivery of public and in-house short courses to the oil and gas industry, associated government departments and financial institutions.
We specialise in the provision of basic training for the lay person, in particular for personnel who work in, or with, the petroleum exploration industry but have little or no technical background. This includes accounting and legal people, secretarial and administration staff, technical support staff, service contractors, investors and brokers, and those in management or professional roles whose background or training is in a field other than Earth Science.
We also provide cross-discipline training to facilitate better communication amongst the various professionals who work within the industry but sometimes struggle to understand some of the complex concepts or strange terminology and jargon involved in geology, seismic or drilling operations.
Courses have been designed to cater for the particular needs of these audiences and can be further tailored to focus on specific areas of interest for individual clients when presented in-house.
Presentations are made in simple language and include explanations of technical terms, demonstrations, hands-on exercises and video footage to clarify or reinforce new concepts and to maintain interest.
PetroSearch presents a regular program of courses throughout Australia and New Zealand, as well as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Singapore and occasionally other cities in southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Perhaps you work in the oil and gas industry but aren’t quite sure how the business works,
